The delegation of the Institute led by Director Mukharram Bikbov visited Oman to participate in the 17^th International Congress of the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO) and the 19^th Muscat International Ophthalmology Conference (MIOC) hosted by Oman Ophthalmological Society.

 

The four-day Congress united more than 500 speakers from 42 countries across the globe highlighting the pressing issues of today’s ophthalmology: glaucoma management, keratoconus and corneal cross-linking, refractive surgery, ocular oncology etc.

A special session of Russian Ophthalmological Society was organized within the framework of the Congress featuring leading experts from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Ufa, Tambov, Cheboksary and Kaluga.
